Richard Carter

Manhester, Vermont , June 2007. I first met Richard Carter in the 1970s and we have been friends ever since. After a successful career in the fine book publishing world, Richard has turned his talents to painting and is making a studio out of an old barn behind the Seth Warner Inn bed & breakfast he and Stasia Tetreault run on historic Route 7A just south of Manchester, Vermont. Richard paints the light and shadows of New England with exceptional sensitivity. He does not have a website but you can see his work displayed at the Seth Warner Inn.
