Artist and Educator Joan DiTieri who teaches at Fort Lee High School in Fort Lee, NJ has invited me to visit her classroom and demonstrate collage techniques for her students three times. The visits pictured here took place in 2002 and 2003.

Fort Lee, located at the west end of the George Washington Bridge, is just across the Hudson from New York City

I always learn a lot when visiting with young people. Their views of the world, formed at such a different time and under such different circumstances from mine, help broaden my vision and keep me in touch with current realities.
