My Friend Leo Vleugels from The Netherlands recommends a database called
Book Collectorz
as the best way for book lovers to keep track of their libraries.

Here's what Leo wrote to me:

"For some two years I've been looking for a good database to store my book collection. I had a list in Excel but this was too limited for my purposes. I've found a great database that you might want to list on your site. The database is called Book Collectorz and a fully working beta-version (limited to 100 entries)can be found at www.collectorz.com. Even though it is a commercial link, Book Collectorz is worth mentioning.

One of the great features is the on-line download of bibliographical data and jpeg's of the covers of books. The Pro-version (for just 40 US$) also allows export to HTML format thus allowing one to have his or her collection on an internet site e.g. for selling books. The collectorz site has a very lively on-line users panel in which I managed to quickly resolve two small problems I had in setting up the database. All together I think Book collectorz was for me the best 40 US$ I've spent in a long time."

I hope this information is useful to you.
Please know that neither Leo nor I have any financial interest in Book Collectorz.
